Dr. Joe Cross-Sarvis, Psychiatric Nurse PractitionerSchedule an Appointment

“Dr. Joe” is a doctorate-prepared Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with more than 17 years of experience in patient care. He is dual-certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). In addition, Joe is a Certified ADHD Professional (ADHD-CCSP) and has been working with patients living with ADHD for over 12 years.

Throughout his career, Joe has had the privilege of caring for individuals across all ages and walks of life—addressing both physical and mental health needs. His clinical experience includes treating patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder, and traumatic brain injuries in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Joe has a special passion for serving diverse communities and takes a particular interest in supporting the needs of the LGBT+ community.

Beyond clinical practice, Joe is also an experienced educator, having developed training curricula and delivered lectures for fellow providers. He is dedicated to advancing the profession through active membership in several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), the International Society of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses, the American Nurses Association (ANA), the Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

When he’s not caring for patients, Joe enjoys exploring new local cuisine, boating on the Columbia River, and spending time with his husband, family, friends, and his rescued Pitbulls.
